With eye-popping lyrics, an album full of bright and brilliant funk-pop earworms and a perhaps unexpected emotional honesty, Remi Wolf is the 360-degree pop star the world has been waiting for. Remi declara que ela quer 'constantemente tentar inovar o som da música Pop' e 'apagar as regras do Pop'. We went into the writing process with the intention of being 100% honest and specific with where we were both at that day and I love how when I listen to the song it feels like a true time capsule to both of our life situations at the time.” Musicalmente, Remi descreve suas canções como 'funky soul pop' em termos de gênero. “It perfectly showcases mine and Sven’s comfortability with each other and how both of our wildly different skill sets can create something that feels so true to both of us. “Pool was such a beautifully natural collaboration - and is a great reflection of how life can just so seamlessly turn into art,” Wolf shared in a statement. “I just know my hearts not there yet/ Or maybe I’m just crazy about the thought of thinking I adore you.” Still Woozy takes the second half, mirroring her verse about meeting “a friend at the pool,” and singing the final refrain. “I don’t really know where my heads at,” she sings over wistful guitars. To tide us over until then, Wolf has dropped “Pool,” her new collaboration with Sven Gamsky, aka Still Woozy. ![]() Tickets go on sale Friday, March 18th via Ticketmaster. By the end of September she’ll arrive in Florida, at which time she’ll pivot north, hitting up Nashville, Boston, and New York City on her way to Toronto. Wolf will cut a horseshoe across the country, swinging down the California coast and along the southern border of the United States. “The Gwingle Gwongle Tour” officially kicks off September 12th in Santa Cruz, California. Wolf is already booked in April and May supporting Lorde on her “Solar Power Tour,” and she’ll also be making a stop at Hangout Fest 2022 before heading off on a previously-announced European trek. Here are five new and notable songs, including Kane Brown and H.E.R. LOS ANGELES Remi Wolf rolled up to an indoor trampoline park in Van Nuys on an August afternoon feeling frazzled. In anticipation of that jaunt, Wolf has shared “Pool,” a fresh collaboration with fellow California songwriter Still Woozy. Our former Artist of the Month has announced “The Gwingle Gwongle Tour,” a 22-date trek in support of her effervescent new album Juno. Remi Wolf tickets for the upcoming concert tour are on sale at StubHub. Not every song is perfect, I found Buttermilk's chorus slightly repetitive and Buzz Me In was a tad long for the musical ideas it presented in my opinion, but both songs are still enjoyable and the album as a whole is so unique and refreshing regardless.Quiet on set: Remi Wolf is ready to make her grand entrance in a city near you. My personal highlights are Quiet On Set, which is a bouncy tune that features Wolf rapping and singing over odd but catchy electronic beeps and sporadic drums, and Street You Live On, which is a low-energy song with a lo-fi synth running throughout, underneath vocals with dreamy distortions- the whole thing gives off a nostalgic vibe that's hard to place, but is a pleasure to listen to. ![]() When she was 14, Wolf formed her first band with. The New York Times wrote that she turns the genre bedroom pop into 'hypercolored explosions'. Despite her overnight fame, the 25-year-old (Aquarius sun with the Leo rising and Cancer moon for those wondering) has long been putting in work. In a 2021 interview, she stated she wants to 'constantly try to innovate the sound of pop music' and 'erase the rules of pop'. Listening to it front to back, it's laid out really well- a wild, high-energy, funky ride broken up by sexy, more down-tempo tracks that give the listener a chance to breathe amongst all the (beautiful) chaos. Musically, Wolf performs in what she describes as a 'funky soul pop' genre.
